The Academy Is... IS my favorite band and although I love all of their music, this album is the best. It is the strongest, by far, in meaning and depth. I can't stop listening to it. It's one of those albums that you can listen to over and over and over and not one song will get old. TAI is no longer together but their memory lives on through this album. The lead singer, William Beckett is now in a solo experiment. I expect great things from his upcoming EP.

Won't find anything better from this group. RIP TAI.

I listened to this CD not expecting much. I've never heard The Academy Is... before this CD. When the CD started I thought, "Meh, it's alright." After "We've Got A Mess On Our Hands" played, I knew this CD, no, this band was great. I really recommend this CD.

Santi is, in my opinion, The Academy Is... at their very best. Everything about this album is literally perfect. The vocals are amazing, the lyrics are pure genius, and the guitar melodies are super-catchy. It's one of those albums where it's possible to love every single song on it. ...And now for the songs: Same Blood- 8.5/10. Epic intro, amazing lyrics, great way to start off the album. LAX To O'Hare- 9/10. Awesome guitar, super-catchy tune, basically just a great, great song. We've Got A Big Mess On Our Hands- 10/10. Tied for the best song on this album, probably the best intro I have ever heard, definitely a must-buy. Sleeping With Giants (Lifetime)- 7.5/10. strong vocals, maybe not as exciting as some of the other songs, but still a very good song. Everything We Had- 10/10. my other choice for the best song on this album, truly amazing lyrics, perfect vocals, overall one of the very best songs I have ever heard in my life. Bulls In Brooklyn- 9.7/10. awesome drum-beat, has a really cool vibe to it, for sure one of my favorites. Neighbors- 9/10. super-catchy and upbeat, will have you singing along in no time. Seed- 9.5/10. some of the best lyrics on this album, starts getting really epic towards the end. Chop Chop- 9.9/10. another one of the very best songs, the guitar at the beginning is incredible, stands out from the other songs. You Might Have Noticed- 9.6/10. doesn't get near as much attention as it deserves, one of those songs that you want to scream the lyrics to, definitely another favorite. Unexpected Places- 8/10. amazing lyrics, perfect way to close the album. Also, I don't know why iTunes took down 40 Steps because it is one of the best songs on the album. If you want to download it (and you should) just get the TAI TV episode titled "40 Steps" (it's free!!!) In conclusion, Santi is a winning effort from one of the very best bands known to mankind. It has a unique sound to it that I haven't heard from any other band. I strongly recommend purchasing this album, as well as TAI's other albums. You will not be disappointed. :) <33

ok !so i've been listening to the academy is since almost hear and i love them . there music has helped me through alot of rough stuff espsialy this last year . i just want to say the album is awsome ! and buy it ! i wish the 40 steps back up for purchess .

Other than the song "Everything We Had", it all seems to be thrown together into a jumbled mess of stuff. Come on guys, you're better than this.
