This is the album to buy if your into Strangefolk or just Mr. Reid Genauer (now leadin' Assembly of Dust). The album flows from start to finish and jams like "Line and Circles" and "Speculator" are instant classics. Even the lyrical writing as in "Sometimes" and "Far From Yourself" is spot on and a pouring out of emotion. In 97-99 is when Strangefolk really peaked and most of these jams are the reason why. Follow this album up with tunes like "Valhala" and "Roads" off of Weightless in Water and you' won't be able to get Strangefolk rifts out of your head.

This is one of those great compilations where every song will resonate in some way.......Its been put away for a few years and I recently had a listen again and found myself right back where I was the first time I fell in love with Strangefolk!

This album pleases from start to finish...I never had the pleasure of seeing a Strangefolk show with Reid singing lead, and though they're still great, nothing matches the songs on Lore sung by Reid. This is a must buy for anyone who wants to truely enjoy an album from start to finish...wonderful for a long road trip!
