I really love this album because it's very real, earthy, and everything flows. Sarah is very gifted! This has to be one of my favorite CD's. I can't wait for her next album to come out. (Her sister and husband are awesome praise leaders, too!)

WOW. I think this is the first album I have ever bought that I have loved from start to finish. It's beautiful, poetic, and like a song book for a heart in the wilderness. It's just incredible. I can't wait for the next album.

  • Amazing Debut Album

This Southern Georgia native's debut album, Under Your Bright Wings, is a pitch-perfect combination of country and folk rootsiness with modern sensibilities. Though McMillan's work is at its heart gospel music, it transcends the genre through its honesty and its freshness. The production work keeps each song nicely balanced between the raw grittiness of the instruments and the smooth sweetness of McMillan's voice. If you like bands like Over the Rhine, Neko Case, or Ray LaMontagne, chances are that you'll like Sarah McMillan too.
