I want to thank the person that turned me on to the whole real KC underground sound, you know who you are. For you that are confused where real Hip hop or rap is going, C.E.S CREW, Innate sound crew and the KC underground scene is here to give you hope. Let's keep it moving.....

Being in Kansas City for a little more than three years now, i can say that the underground scene here is one of the best i've heard. You've got the positive laid back vibe of Reach, Miles Bonnie's insane production skill, the lyrically clever and heavy Joe Good, seasoned veterans Approach and Johnny Quest, new Rhymesayers signee Mac Lethal, musically sharp and poetic Deep Thinkers, and of course CES Cru. As Ubiquitous opens his first verse on the opening track "Welcome to Kansas City" you can see the crew is repping and on top of the KC scene. Godemis, Ubiquitous and to a lesser degree Sorceress pervade throughout the album with complex lyrical skill (Hellhammer, Give Up, Sinister) creativity (Body Parts) and just straight Hip-Hop Sh*t (Outabody, Pieces). To the potential buyer, you will not be disappointed. Support local music, rep KC! PS Check out Reach's verse on C.ost E.ffective S.trategy
