Three Sides Live (Remastered)

Ok, I’m almost sure i went to see them in ‘79 on tour here in NYC at Forest Hills Tennis Stadium with my (2) fav cousins , i was 18 years old and it was right after my high school graduation end of summer or fall because it was the first time i had ever been to LIVE CONCERT (if it wasn’t 1979 then it was 1980) But they were AMAZING .. it was an outdoor concert and it started right before dusk and when the SUN WENT DOWN … the stage just became a giant UFO SPACESHIP that went into the night with GREAT MUSIC… (it was obviously minus Peter Gabriel but it didn’t matter at this point😱😎😎😜

Side 4 ? It’s not here!!!!!!!

It’s a wonderful album, a must have! This is the British release with some extra lie songs on it that weren’t on the 4th side of the original US version. The 5 studio tracks on the 4th side of the US release were left off the Duke and Abacab recording sessions and have been released on varrious boxsets. This version, the guys sound great. The songs are good from beginning to end. The keyboard work from Tony Banks, the duel drumming from Phil Collins and Chester Thompson is really tight. This release was what got me to get the rest of their back catalog back in 1987. You won’t be disappointed when you purchase this download. The one complaint I have is that I wish it was longer.

I keep checking, but this Apple version of the album still has only 3 out of 4 sides included. I keep wanting to download Evidence of Autumn, but it’s on your lost 4th side! Please please please make this a full 4 sided album and include the studio songs too! (Walks away with money, shaking head)

This is the version that the rest of the world got, North America got the version with 5 studio tracks....hence the title “three sides live”. This is definitely worth the money to get all great live tracks. Just only if apple would release the 5 studio tracks would be great. The only other way to get them is buy archives volume 2 which is not available on iTunes only cd

It took me a while to warm to this album, as it took me a while to get acclimated to very different types of music than they had been making through Wind and Whuthering. Had the original American release, the 4th side of which was weak in my opinion with the exception of You Might Recall and the catchy but commercial Paperlate. The 4th live side is a big upgrade all three of the additional songs are excellent live versions featuring Bruford on a few of them with Phil. The old medley which they have played a ton is in fine form here.

This album is awesome, but I bought the two disc cd some years and theirs two songs that aren't on iTunes album that are on mine and I think that makes a huge difference. Those songs are Paperlate, Evidence Of Autum, You Might Recall, Open Door and Me And Virgil. So if you are truly a Phil Collins/Genesis fan in which I truly am I would buy the copy with these songs on it and I'm sure it will cost you less than buying iTunes version without these great songs especially my favorite is Paperlate but I enjoy the entire album.

I love Three Sides Live (UK version) how do I get the US version also?

iTunes,please add" You Might Recall",at least as a single.This is a far better song than 'Paperlate'

The best Live album for Genesis fans! "Follow You, Follow Me" live is harmonic and rhythmic, whereas the audience in unison clap to the cadence of Collin's drums, and the band musically is tight, weaving together a soul-reaching version of their classic song.
