I grew up with this music too - in fact, we used to frequent the "Stumble Inn," in the 1970's, using fake I.D.s. I guess I shouldn't say that, but it's all in the past now. Chuck Wagon and the Wheels...I learned how to country swing to this band and learned a whole lot of other things too. It's great to see them on iTunes.. What great memories and thank you iTunes for bringing memories those back.

A buddy from work made my dad a tape with two of Chuck Wagon and the Wheels' albums on it: "Ice Cold Beer and Red Hot Women" and "Pass the Gas". I went on a lot of road trips with my dad between Montana and Colorado listening to that tape in my dad's 1965 Chevy pickup truck. Always makes me happy. This compilation contains most of the contents of those albums, but there are holes, mostly covers and some political stuff dealing with the energy crisis of the 1970s.

Amazing! Chuck finally released a Best Of cd. I've been looking Chuck's original albums on cd for years. This is the BEST! Missing a few of my favorites like How can I get over you (when you're under me) and Drop the bomb, but I certainly won't complain. Come on Chuck, give us a Best Of #2. The memories are too many to recall. Thanks for this.

Once upon a time (mid 1970's), in a country town far, far away...Chuck Maultsby and his Old Band played almost nightly at a quaint little country bar - (Stumble Inn) - down the street from the University of Arizona in Tucson. We were lucky to be sober by the third set...and so was Chuck. Most of us learned to two step to the songs on this album and more than one of our girls passed out in their food. Finding this album available on iTunes has proven to me that there really is a God. Chuck, it is time for a comeback tour. I'll handle the marketing, you handle the Hawaiian shirts, Red Hot Women and Ice Cold Beer. I'll even call to see if John Miller is still alive.
