It is re-recorded NOT remastered and the line up of band members has changed over time. These songs are performed by the current "Starship" line up. Not that these are bad just be aware b4 buying them.

This is a ripoff of "re-recorded" Starship tunes. Should be called "de-recorded" since Grace Slick's voice has been de-leted. Starship without Grace is like the Beatles without Paul or the Stones without Mick. Sorry, no refunds! Lesson learned.

As teen growing up in the 1980's I listened to Starship occasionally. I thought this album would be great to listen to those tunes again. I didn't know it was full of new recordings minus original band members. This was complete ripoff and i tunes should be ashamed at selling it! Don't buy it!

Heard one of the old songs on the radio, got stuck in my head and I found this right away on iTunes via my phone...wish I had seen the reviews first. Bad impulse buy, because this sound-alike attempt with Mickey Thomas (alone) was a waste of time and money...I rarely delete music, but this one may be going--there's a reason it's such a "good price"...avoid, avoid, avoid.

DO NOT buy this album. It is just awful.You would enjoy the music more if you were to buy a knock-off album from K-TEL.At least they make no pretenses of what you are buying.Sure,this is Mickey Thomas but that is as far as it goes and even he doesn't do a very good job of it either. They do a great injustice to the songs that are represented here.
