On it's own merits, this is a solid live album. All the music is played tight. This is just as much Blackfoot as when Medlocke used the Blackfoot name without Walker, Hargrett and Spires. In fact, they stay tighter to the roots than when Rickey did a 'southern funk' album using the Blackfoot name.

In my opinion, Blackfoot was Ricky Medlocke and Jackson Spires. Its decent sounding but there is no feel to the vocals or drumming. Its a good cover band at best. I agree with the previous post, go with Highway Song Live.

Without Rickey Medlocke it is not Blackfoot. For some great live Southern Rock buy" Highway Song Live."
