some of my favorite cuts from the movie are not listed on Itunes. Other than the Sly Stone songs listed previously does anyone know the others? Thanks

I just saw the movie on 12/31/07 - what a great way to end 2007 with a classic! Compared to What is an incredible cut! Terence Blanchard is a genius!

The movie was one of the best in a long time but it did not get the big time screenings. It hit home The music is great it brings the 60's back. See the movie and by the sound track.

While this CD contains some great songs from the movie, it is missing several of the best. Buy this CD but also download "I Want to Take You Higher" & "If You Want me to Stay" by Sly & the Family Stone and "I'll Take you There" by the Staple Singers to make the collection complete. It is also missing a Supremes song but I can't remember its title. And by all means - GO SEE THE MOVIE!!

I just got home from seeing the movie...It was great and the soundtrack turns into a character all it's own. See the movie. Buy the soundtrack. You'll be glad you did.

This is a refreshing collection of great 60's soul music...There are some songs here that you will remember but don't hear often if you don't have them in your private collection..like "Tramp" by Otis Redding and "Sweet Soul Music" by Arthur Conley. This is the music the 60's were built on, and these artists made way for soul artists to come...This is music for every age; if you are not familiar with these songs, buy this CD and listen to some of the outstanding singers and groups of that decade. The CD also closes with the wonderful Me'Shell Ndegeocello...Enjoy!
