I AGREE , HE DOES SOUND LIKE A YOUNG CHRIS CORNELL AND NAZARETH WITH BON SCOTT`S GROWLS KICKED IN THERE TOO.BUT , THE MORE I HEAR IT IT SOUNDS MORE LIKE AUDIOSLAVE , WHEN THEY FIRST CAME OUT . 5 STARS!!!

Saw them with Avenged Sevenfold in 2007, and they rocked - but this album is just flat and unmemorable. Every song sounds the same, and they sound like a grunge-metal tribute band. Just see them live.

I heard Delicate on my digital cable rock station the other day, and while I will agree that it sounds alot like Cornell, it also sounds alot like Good Music, like we used to get many years ago, Few bands come along these days and put out a song that people will make memories with, and I think this could be one of them. I look forward to jamming to the rest of the songs on the album.

whats wrong with u guys?!?! how could u compare ANYONE to Chris Cornell? not to say this guy has a bad voice but theres something about his voice that just has this pompus self centered nature to it. at the same time i wont completley destroy the band because at this point ANYTHING is better then half of the garbage out there today. *sigh* thats pretty sad that rock has gone so far downhill. :(

The 90's brought us NEW sounds, very little is NEW in 2008. Soulcrusher reminds me of when rock was last interesting, the 90's! Soundgarden meets Guns n Roses in 2008 yet sounds new, long live Rock!

Yes, the lead singer sounds a lot like Chris Cornell, but unlike any Chris Cornell album that actually manages to stay strong after the opening track, this one does not. Soulcrusher is an amazing song, so much so that after I heard it once I bought the CD. Obviously no other song on the CD is like it, which I would hope not, but none of the other ones even come close. The majority of the songs are soft...stupidly so for a man that claims to be such a badass. It would have been nice to see the intensity of Soulcrusher at some point further on in the CD. I only gave this CD three stars purely off of Soulcrusher.

A soild album with some softer songs such as "Delicate" to offset Strong's more powerful songs such as "Nothing to Lose" and "Soulcrusher". For the people who are looking for a great hard rock band (which has been hard to find these days, of course with a few exceptions) Operator is definately for you with a stong vocalist and a great band to back it up.

Fairly generic sound. It really does sound like CHris Cornnel with a lesser band than Audioslave or Soundgarden. The hit single Soul Crusher is good and orginal in sound. However it has a bad spot where the singer trys to cram in an extra sylabal, "So get your head out your a** now" does not fit in the phrase. And the song is sort of pointlessly vulgar, and I'm a person who cusses constantly. Still it feels forced.
