Party's Over - Single

I saw Nicole last night in NYC and for the second time in just a few months. Once again I fell in love with her powerful, elegant and delicious voice. In addition Nicole's charism would make you believe that she was born on stage. The first time I heard her (in a small NY club), I was simply mesmerized. The quality of all of her songs is amazing, whether fast or slow they all convey a lot of emotions. Also as a French guy, her so distinctive voice stroke me as an American modern version of Edith Piaf... I can't wait for her album to come out, she will be big!

I was just trying to describe Nicole to a friend and I said she's melodramatic like Amy Winehouse, mysterious like Angelo Badalamenti, and from the Jersey shore like Bruce Springsteen. And that's just a start. She is an artist really unlike any other, and her full abum is due October 30. I'm counting the days!

nicole and the sea were just here in austin this morning and i hafta admit i'm impressed. i'm really looking forward to hearing more from her. side note to itunes- get 'maybe tonight' ASAP.

Nicole, I hope you're reading this. I've heard an advance copy of your album, and it's my favorite album of the year. I can't wait until it officially comes out - I'll be buying a copy for everyone that I know for Christmas. By the way, I hope that there are more tracks like "Skywriters" that were recorded at the same time as the album that you can release as b-sides - I'll by 'em all. PLEASE RELEASE THE VIDEO MIX OF "NEPTUNE CITY" - I'll buy that too. Good luck with the album!

Its an honor to write one of her first Itunes reviews. Nicole Atkins delivers an elegant sound in a new and modern way. Truly different and unique from all other current and renowned female artists, Atkins sound sells itself apart from the standard reverberations of today. Her music is clever and intricate with a vocal precision that will leave her among the great voices of our time. Sorry I stood her up for her first acoustic open mic night in H.S. All the best to Nicole and her band.

I have never heard of her before but this is the greatest a single album I've heard in a while, other than Potential Breakup Song by Aly and AJ! I'm going to buy it as soon as I can!
