Impressive first effort. Megan's vocals are like a warm blanket

I first had the chance to run into Megan Jean and her husband on myspace, when they complimented my band. After replying, I listened to their few clips and almost fell out of my seat. The strength of Megan's voice allows her to come across with forceful conviction yet still retain the wistfulness that compliments all great female singers and allow their voices to haunt people's souls. All this sounds a bit cheesy, but this is honestly the first album review I've ever written. If you like folk, you'll like this. If you like bluegrass, you'll like this. If you like country, you'll love this. Its all of the best parts of all of these genres, tied down by a voice you will never forget.
