This is kind of like a faster version of Six Feet Under....With Corpsegrinder of course.

People who rate albums low because they compare it to other more established bands' albums make me cry.

How is it that the Sunshine State can churn out such evil, demonic music? It must be something in the water, or maybe it's because they film Dexter here. Paths Of Possession is George Fisher's (Cannibal Corpse) melodic Swede-metal band. I prefer Cannibal Corpse, but fans of evil melody and non-gore lyrics will probably gravitate towards P.O.P. Everything about this album is heavy. The production is super clean and you can actually understand the vocals. But I just don't feel any magic coming from this disc.
  • Blood thinning guitar shredding action

a breakthrough for death metal. vocalist for Cannibal corpse George Fisher lends his assests to this album so well. and it is an interesting change for him, considering his past with gory Cannibal Corpse. no disrespect to them, but he just nailed it on this. instrumentally also well put together. A must have for sure. you will not be disappointed.
