Boring "electronica" with an obscene name. How scandalous.

This band is absolutely great. Their mix of awesome riffs with synth and delay along with driving beats and bass line make this band a must have in your collections. I cant say enough good things about this album. THis is the kind of album that you just have to play over and over because it just makes sense cosmically to be listening to it....
  • Simply Amazing!

I discovered this band while digging up indie/underground music one night and got stuck on them and couldn't leave their page. I seriously tried to proceed to my other findings but couldn't bring myself to hit the 'stop' button! Holy F*** creates music that is intriguiging, experimental, hooks that won't let you go, and keep you listening for more! A part of me wishes there was some lyrical content but their music stands alone just fine without it. I have yet to buy the album but I do intend to very soon! Amazing group of guys!

My 9-year-old son and I traveled from Ohio to Red Rocks to see them (and a few other groups) play based off the sound of this album. We got over the name calling them Holy "F", and even though neither of us really knew the structure of their work being analog, we could appreciate this as a great album. Lovely Allen is the superstar of the disk, but we also highly recommend Safari. Seeing them live is a totally different experience. They try to capture that in Super Inuit (Live), but it just falls a little short. That being said, I still have no problem giving this 5 stars. We look forward to some well polished work from them in the future.
  • Sick album

Works as background noise, or something to throw on when you wanna hear some genuinally good music. Lovely Allen is the obvious standout, but the rest is still some excellent material.

these guys are unbelievable they have some of the most catchy beats. I saw them live at lollapalooza this year and i have to say it was one of the top three shows in my opinion. they put on a great show if you get the chance see them live!

It hit me with the first listen - this sounds really original! Then I thought - why the heck isn't anyone else doing this, it sounds so good? Play live drums and bass (ditch the programmed beats) and actually play analog synths (ditch the sequencer). It sounds like Can meets early NIN with a hint of The Secret Machines or Neu. Really really good. I'd love to see them live after all the rave reviews. I loved the first album too.

I heard Holy F**k for the first time a couple weeks ago. I went to the M.I.A. concert in Chicago, IL and Holy F**k opened up for her. And wow, these guys put on an awesome live performance. They had a bassist, a drummer, and keyboardists. The fact that the drums and bass were live music made it that much better. Their songs definitely get stuck in your head easily. For me, each song has a certain point where I think to myself, "Holy f**K!" Their music takes you many places during one song.
