For those of us that were down with three 6 around the time of "when the smoke clears" and earlier, we remember tracks that were really similar to this album. I call that time the golden years of memphis rap. Scarfo and the rest of the crew have brought back something special: high-energy crunk tracks with a posse feel--that is, a group dynamically attacking a topic. Where three 6 fell off, Scarfo and the rest of the folks resurected something that I thought was lost forever. Check out both albums!!!

Better than the last one!!! Going back to the darker beats of past albums. Lord Infamous on this album lets you know how low his brother and Juicy J are with their label. Maybe Frayser Boy, Lil' Wyte and Project Pat will be on the next one. Infamous gives the Posse CD that old Triple Six feel before they went pop.
  • The Posse is back!!!

I have listened to the posse for some time now and I am glad to see them back in action as a team on one album. It seems they only get better! I wish Itunes would get some of their other work on here as well....I recomend #7 Prophet Posse, # 10 Play No Games and #29 Orange Mound. Classic sounds with a fresh view and lyrics. If you are not familiar with Prophet Posse , then that is a good place to start.

Nicky Scarfo returns with the old prophet posse clan. This cd is much better than the first version. Lord Infamous and Koopsta Knicca rip it as usual. Best song on the disc is Orange Mound by far. A must have for Memphis Rap fans.
