I am anxiously awaiting this albums release! An I love the way he does this song!! K-Maxs signature voice really brings this song up a notch!! So far on the music I have previewed from the album, this one is my fave one!!

Kevin Max's latest album is surely going to be his best. I have listened to nearly all of the tracks via his many myspace sites, and as awesome as this cover is, it is not at all the best track on the album. Having said that, this song is definitely one of the better covers to ever appear of this classic song. Kevin's voice is in too-notch shape, and the production is perfect. For those who have found some of Kevin's work in the past to be too eccentric, this track (and the forthcoming album) will provide a perfectly "Kevin Max" album without pushing the average listener to reach for something more expectedly palatable. You won't be disappointed!

Album drops in early December. I got an advance copy by accident because I work for a leading newspaper. "The Cross"-brilliant, possibly a popular Christian hit. Almost a "country" feel to it, but progresses into a louder rock song. Features dcTalk! "Trouble of the World"-Amazing! Slow blues-ey sound. Great Kmax vocals. I'd tell you more but I'm not sure I should. He's got a more refined sound, good car music.

Once of the most amazing vocalists and artists of our time...Kevin Max does it again...keep thinking outside the box kevin.

I have to admit that I was a tad worried when I found out that we can now add Kevin Max to the list of artists who have covered this song, but, thankfully, we can also add him to the list of artists who have made a UNIQUE cover of the song (following Moby and Johnny Cash). Which is, actually, a pretty identical list. Basically, in short, this is the most passionate performance of the song that I've heard. Then again, since when has Kevin Max NOT been equated with passion?

The fact that this song is incredible is just common sense. I don't believe I'm exaggerating or overrating Kevin when I say he has the best voice in the world. God truly spent some time working on this guys voice when He made him. He most def does justice to this song, and Chris is a great addition also. Bottom line- amazing cover, by my favorite singer (and my personal inspiration for singing). ROck on KMAX -and as much as i luv ya- you really should get bak together with dctalk.
