I just have to say GET A CLUE to the person that said this band copied Weird Al. Weird Al does parodies of famous songs, and the song you are thinking about was first written and performed by Crash Test Dummies in 1993. The song is called "Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm" on the album "God Shuffles His Feet". Weird Al then did a parody of this song, entitled "Headline News", in 1994 which wasn't released on any of his regular albums until the box set "Permanent Record: Al in the Box". So before you go bashing them for the wrong reasons, do some research.

These guys grow better with each album. Best enjoyed with a good scotch in the evening or a fine brew in the middle of nowhere. EXCELLENT driving music. Although it's not my "style," it grew into one regardless. "The Day We Never Met" is some amazing songwriting, as is most of Brad's endeavors. BRAVO CTD! (I like CTD so much - I'd buy toilet water from them.) Good times.
