This album never recieved the exposure or popularity it deserved. Yosemite Mudflap is catchy, heavy, and absurd in an endlessly fun kind of way. I had the oppurtunity to see them twice before they broke up August 2008, citing a desire to make more Christian-oriented music like every other band on the Tragic Hero label. I truly wish that this band had been allowed to live up to it's full potential instead of being lumped with the other cookie-cutter generic Christian HardXCore bands in North Carolina, and hope that their music will be heard by many even after they no longer exist as a band. Just give Suit of Lights, 300 Miles, Truckin' on the Dunes, or Tuff a listen, and you'll see what this band is really all about and why they deserved better than local infamy for their off-the-wall image and brilliant nonsense lyrics in a straight-edge conservative hardXcore crowd. These guys were a beam of light in the mar of generic local metal in my area, and I'm sad to see them go. Keep Mudflap alive and have some serious fun along the way...buy this album!

Yosemite Mudflap is yet another band that has come out of NC. I love these guys because even though they sound xcore, if you listen to their lyrics, it proves that you can say whatever you want. with lyrics like "Pioneers, settlers, on the Oregon trail. Searching for gold mines and other things like nails, and ginger ale"-hometown anthem- if youre looking for music that rocks and can make you laugh, then buy this album- you wont be disappointed!
