I accidently got of hold of Ms. Ashanti Munir while adding some "new blood" to my library. How did she ever slip under the radar? I can't believe I've never heard of her, unless I have via another artist! This is a more than worthwhile effort for all of those who like "straight up/no chaser" "smooth r&b" This is a c.d. you can play right through-- a rarity these days! Her lush voice ranks right on up there with Oleata Adams, Randy Crawford and a few other "great "soulstresses" who receive far too little recognition. All the best to you Ms. Munir! This is one "worthwhile" project I'll be downloading tonight!
