  • Disapointed at first, but love it now!!

Ok, I have to say first that what I miss the most is their "evil", sarcastic and somewhat innocent humour of their second album. The new album is much slower and simpler, but they still managed to make me love their music. The mood is very different, but they kept the blue grass/folk charm of their previous records. After a couple of listening you wont be able to take it out of your head. This album is addictive!!!
  • I want this album! (but not with DRM)

I've had too many struggles with DRM in the past that I'm swearing off albums with it. I got the other Ditty Bop albums from Amazon because they were DRM free. Sigh. Guess I'll just have to wait on this one. (Or get it from *other* channels? I'd rather pay to support the girls but I also want the album.) Hey Bops, talk to your distributor about making this album itunes drm free, or put it on amazon so I can buy it! I LOVE your music!

If you like music then you will love this album -- if you're in to the Ditty Bops then doubly so... The sound? Different yes... but its the Ditty Bops, gimmie a break. Its oh so good and I love the new lyrical take. They've struck a chord with me, and a lot of others I'm sure; an album not to be missed.

The Ditty Bops were in fact featured on the first volume grey's anatomy soundtrack. That happens to be a particularly popular soundtrack and I would only assume they benefitted from it, but thats just in response to the other comment. I love the Ditty Bops and feel that their precocious melodies are beyond measure, they definitely deserve success with this album.
  • A more intimate album

Another fantastic album by The Ditty Bops. If you like them, do not delay; they deliver. Overall, this album is rather personal and curious. Not quite as silly as earlier albums (although there are several upbeat tracks), I find that I'm really not certain what many of the songs are about. This is a good thing.

The Ditty Bops continue their wave of perfect records! Please never change your style! Please always remain quirky and comical and KEEP UP THE AWESOME MUSIC! Somebody should put the Ditty Bops on a soundtrack like Juno did for Kimya Dawson. Not enough people know how awesome you guys are. Keep it up gals!

I've been following these girls since thier freshman album and am never disappointed. These ladies are such a unique mix of rag-time, folk and modern sounds. Keep it coming Ditty Bops. You forever have a fan in me.
