Future Unknown

I heard these guys for the first time on a radio station in Birmingham, Alabama called 107.7 the X and they were fantastic!!! This particular station recorded a cd every year called Live in the X Lounge and The Rising were on Live in the X Lounge VII which I bought. After that they seem to disappear apparently having some dispute with their label. Michael Lee aka Michael Johns is a great talent and The Rising is definately one of the most under-rated groups I've ever heard in 42 years.Cradle is awesome!!! Better than anything coming out today by alot of these kids that cant carry a tune in a bucket. Hopefully someday the word will get out.

I wish Michael would bring back this sound on his future albums. So Alive, Cradle, Redemption are outstanding!

Nice CD. Obvious! I bought this CD, as well the Film, because of Michael Lee Johns. Not for Maverick Co. neither The Rising group. Just waiting for the new album from Michael’s. Wishing him a lot of success in his careers life. All ready bought the Xmas single from Michael, very good.

I found this album screwing around in itunes, and I bought a could of tracks, AMAZING!! It was not until i wnet back to buy the enitre album that I realized that this was Michael Johns. I was seriously suprised. I had not been the biggest fan of his during idol, but this stuff is fantastic, American idol really did not do him justice. if you like rock at all, give the album a listen, you won't regret it.

i was so upset when michael was kicked off idol then when i found out he had former bands i started searching for his early work and when i found this i was soooo happy!! you have to buy this its amazing YOU ROCK MICHAEL cant wait for a solo cd!

I, like many others, first heard of Michael Johns by watching his amazing performances on American Idol. When deprived of seeing him weekly, I went in search of his talent online. What I found was so much more satisfying than anything I'd previously seen. This album is astounding both vocally and instrumentally! I give thanks to American Idol for leading me to such unequaled talent!

WOW... what an incredible surprise to search on You Tube for any music Michael Johns from AI, and find this band he rocked with! This sound and the music on this CD exceeded my expectations in terms of John's range and capability as an artist. The voice was his, but the sound was something we haven't had the priveledge of hearing on commercial only AI. Nonetheless, I'm grateful for the show, in that it showcases such talent (albeit missed back in '03) as his. I'm a fan, Michael, from a small town in Massachusetts- come tour here!

This album is finally out. I saw these guys in Detroit in the Summer of 2002 and stupidly passed on the opportunity to buy their album them. Well, 6 years later I am finally the proud owner of it. I was able to dowload Cradle a while ago, but no others and could never find the album. But, overall, defenitely worth waiting for. Hope this helps. Enjoy.
