Saw this band for the first time last week, I was blown away, such a mixture of styles and very hard to "label" I'm a solid fan now and looking forward to the next gig. In the meantime just listen to the albums.

This band is unusual in that its songs are a unique blend of percussion, horns, catchy vocals, and musicianship that you just don't find on commercial radio. They continue to branch out in their choice of subject matter and their musical styles. Their live show is not to be missed; they are always musical, never too loud or poorly mixed (I've seen them over a dozen times, and I am always amazed at how much they sound like their albums when playing live). This live album is a testament to that. Check out Sleeping People; an anthem of social and environmental consciousness that is almost impossible not to sing along with. The Ballad of Balone is a personal favorite, and if you've ever been at UNC Chapel Hill and gone out on Franklin Street, you've got to check out The Cave. The horns on Greyhound Station will have you dancing in no time. Check out their other albums as well; you won't be disappointed.
