When I first heard of Scarlett I found that she has a album and so I heard the songs and fell in love. First off her voice is amazing and so unique in a good way and just something I've never heard before and also the lyrics are so beautiful and deep and I just love the whole album💕

I guess good looks will get you places.I'm sorry but this is crap!!! I didn't expect bubble gum pop or country. I thought some good rock-n-roll from her. I think about 10 seconds a song is all my sense of hearing could handle. I wouldn't pay the sales tax on this if it were free. This music how can you listen to it when her singing " if you can call it that" is so mono tone. There's no pitch just sounds like she is reading audio books..the best thing the cd is good for is levelling out a crooked table. PLEASE STICK TO ACTING AND THATS NOT THAT GREAT EITHER.

Delusions of grandeur? Its not really singing...more of a "Happy Birthday Mr. President" imitation...save your $$.
  • Scarlett is Flawless.

She has a low voice. So what? She's a low alto. Her voice still sounds absolutely sexual and amazing! Her voice reminds me a lot of Lana del Rey's.

I admit, when I first listened to this album, it did sound a little flat. But, after listening a second, I started to hear soft tones that made the songs creepy, yet amusing and bright in their own special way. Don't have a clue who Tom Waits is, but I think that Johannson did a great job covering his songs. If she ever decides to continue, she should stick with indie, alternative music. Only reason I didn't give this five stars was due to the fact that her voice was a little low at points. But she's probably an alto anyway. I suggest, if she does another album, have one song where the octave is a little higher. Great job, Scarlett! <3

Yes, it's different. But that's a good thing!
  • If she has a voice, she hasn't found it yet

Big fan of Waits, big fan of Johansson ... but this seems to be an example of someone famous being surrounded by people that cannot offer any sincere criticism.... or else like the many applicants to american idol whose friends should have out of kindness said ... i don't think this is the career for you.

This sounds like a HOT MESS! She sounds bored. There is no vocal range. Its like she's 'talking' her way through the song.
