How this manages to be available for sale eludes me. I have no problem with a group doing instrumental covers of another band's work, it should be noted that track 16, "Is There Anybody Out There", is THE ACTUAL TRACK FROM THE WALL by Pink Floyd. These guys just seem to have ripped the track and dubbed out the vocals in the beginning that say "Is there anybody out there." They didn't even bother to mask the sounds of the television in the background or anything from the original! If this was the way it worked, then I should just release an album of Led Zeppelin songs which I have ripped from a CD and in which I've cut off the last four seconds, sell each track for 99 cents and I'll be rich! Somehow, I feel I'd wind up in court if I did that.

Let's face it. There aren't too many Pink Floyd karaoke tracks out there. This, my friends, is the answer. Mostly faithful to the original, it sounds like a cover band not making it their own but just replaying it. There are many elements that are not the same, but that's just fine. All of the instruments are played very well. They do get a little funkier on songs that were instrumental in the first place, though, so be warned. If you want Pink Floyd without vocals - whether it's because you want to sing along, too, or you don't want to listen to David Gilmour and Roger Waters crooning in your ear - this is a good alternative. This is the next best thing to them releasing the tapes without the vocals on them.
