I bought this album 10 years ago and was not ready for it...I was still into typical nu-metal and could not get into this. My ears and taste in music has evolved in time and become much more advanced. I decided to play this album again and am blown away. I am glad I did not throw this away. :)

Phil Bozeman and the rest of Whitechapel are good musicians. I loved every song off this album! The lyrics are amazing. Love Whitechapel

Good deathcore album. No way in hell is it for most people, but that's a given, so you outsiders writing reviews let the metalheads do the judging. Good work from whitechapel, but I just prefer CG.

You might as well cut and paste my review of Somatic Defilement here.Because I'd basically be repeating my self.Only difference is the musicianship,definitely up a notch.If they'd just get away from those stale breakdowns.At least their not the worst band in this so called Deathcore genre.That goes to Chelsea Grin ;-)
