I still got the cassette tape of this album and many others. Wonder what it's worth. You can't go wrong with Midnight Star.

This is simply one of the best funk and R&B albums of the 1980s. Every song is an absolute winner and there is something for everyone - serious funk for the clubs, terrific slow jams for lovers, and fine mid-tempo jams for the steppers. You cannot go wrong with this album. This is probably the best recording relased under the old Solar Record label.

As a teen that's grown up in the musical quagmire that is Bieber fever and Rebecca Black-love, I've always enjoyed escapes from the so-called popular music of today. Thankfully, my folks were disco rats, and my love for Midnight Star was born. Definitely get this if you enjoy this style of music!

Haven't heard this album or these songs back in the days...where people were hanging out enjoying good company good friends & strangers joining in. Great times, just doing homework at the kitchen table, listening to the radio & Freak a zoid would come on, you turn the volume & start to dance.

One of my favorite albums of all time. One of those albums you can just let play. Every song could have been a single hit on it's own merit. A must have for your old school R&B/Soul collection.
