I’ve been a Used fan since the beginning and you can’t go wrong purchasing any of their albums. They never disappoint. Just like most of their albums every song on this one is amazing. But even if you only own one it should be this album especially since it’s their first. It includes the iconic song The Taste of Ink which to this day in 2020 they continue to play at almost every concert. The album also includes Maybe Memories the first song/demo they recorded together. Which is the song the original 3 members of the band wrote music for that Bert was given when they were looking for a vocalist. He returned the next day with lyrics and we got The Used!

Simply put, this album is the s#@t. No two ways about it. No if's, and's or but's. I could easily put this in an all-time top 10. You just can't find this emotion and intensity elsewhere, including The Used's subsequent albums.
If you need to get hyped up for something throw this album on 45 minutes in advance. You'll be good to go. Promise.
