Buy this EP. It will change the way you listen to music. Every single song is a stand-alone hit. It's impossible to pick a favorite. Neal Tiemann's lyrics are stunning and Andy Skib's voice is mesmerizing. This is MWK, and music at its very best.
  • MWK, the best band you never heard of!

Well, many people have heard of them now. Alternative rock, superb music with smart, straight forward lyrics by Neal Tiemann, fantastic vocals by Andy Skib. This band rocked before David Cook joined them, they rocked when DC was with them, and they rocked on this, their most recent EP, without DC. MWK's musicanship is superb, and the multiple layers of sound on their recordings is better than many major label releases. You can't stop at just one EP. You'll want to purchase their entire catalogue.

I'm a David Cook fan, and I came to this when he sung anodyne. Anodyne is one of those songs that'll bring you into its own world, and take you on an emotional roller coaster. It's such a brilliant masterpiece of a song (it was written by neal--the guitar player--and David Cook, I'd say, buy that song first, listen to it in its entirety...and if you like it, buy the other songs. They're all pretty beautiful and touching. Trust me, you won't regret the $4 purchase

The most talented band I've encountered in years. Amazing words and sound. Individually they are gifts, together they are a treasure. Do yourself a favor and imbed their sound in your DNA.

Andy and Neal are geniuses! They are such a great team and I wish them the best in their new endeavors. Check out Andy's To Have Heroes EP, and look for Neal to pop up in the rock scene shortly. Andy's voice blended with Neal's awesome guitar riffs always produce great sound - as seen here in this EP. Check their other stuff out!!

I am really enjoying these songs, especially in the car, and I'm so glad that I bought them. They are much better than you can tell from listening to the samples. (First I bought Vera and A Scarlet Letters, then came back for the rest.) I became a fan of the lead singer Andy Skib via his new group To Have Heroes, a softer acoustic style, available on my space. Luna Despierta has more complex rock backgrounds, very interesting, but the same intriguing voice.
  • Crazy talented bunch of guys here....

I was introduced to MWK through learning more about David Cook on American Idol. I'm so glad I stumbled across this band because they're amazing. I have no clue why they aren't signed yet. I've heard their other EP, Incoherent With Desire to Move On, and that was brilliant. This one is even better and I love their sound. Andy Skib's voice is like butter over all the tight guitar hooks. This EP, short as it is, has a lot of staying power. That's saying a alot for only listening to 4 songs. :)
