Great lyrics and melodies, with some of baseball's legends as the stars. Well done.

No joke. Any fan of Minus 5 or Wynn's post-Dream Syndicate work will love this CD. Plus it has Pete freakin' Buck on guitars! The melodies are catchy and stick to the roof of your brain like musical peanut butter. Buy the hard copy though as the liner notes are a good read w/ the story behind the song notes for each song. Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack AND this album!

As a huge baseball fan, I have seen this album profiled on This Week in Baseball, in the Boston Globe, and saw the band on David Letterman. I am so glad that Yep Roc put this album out and it's finally available. I can't think of an original song about baseball that isn't "Centerfield" and this album has 13 of them! The only thing is that iTunes says this album is explicit and it certainly is NOT. There is one swear word in track #2, but all in all this album is completely family friendly. Go Red Sox and The Baseball Project!
