at first i thought ok im going to buy 2 songs and now i want all of them! i love the new album and i think its super fun for a beach trip i have no idea why but when i'm on a run at the beach or reading a book on the deck i want css with me ;)

I first got into the song "Music Is My Hot, Hot Sex", I kept a sharp eye out on CSS because I didn't enjoy many of there other songs on their first album.
But when this one came out, I fell in love.
They added some more spunk to this one.
Their songs are more fun and energetic.
CSS ROCKS!

This is their best complete CD yet, IMHO. Interesting to see the love/hate responses...if it's not your thing that's okay but why slam something you simply would never like anyway? To me, I love the feeling of the lyrics and her voice - a new fresh voice in English music. I love that she slips in Portuguese but would also love to hear full Brazil-centric focus from them vs. what will get them on itunes.

I found their first album to be a good mix of songs that meshed together, but also managed to maintain an individuality. That was what made it a great album. This album just is not up to the snuff of their first. The songs all manage to flow together, and not in a good way. Not only that, but there is very little variation within the song. Imagine taking a drum machine, making a 5-15 second beat and looping it. Now you know how most of the songs on the album sound.
In spite of the monotonous repitition and the subdued and mediocre nature of the album as a whole, there are several standout songs. In my opinion, "Beautiful Song" is probably the best song on the album. Sadly, the entirety of the album is lacking the fun and energy of their first album.
