Can't wait for their new album to drop April 21st! I believe it's supposed to have somewhat of an 80's tinge to it. What will they think of next? I love the song "Safe to Land". It starts of slow and has a great build up to the end!

Jars of Clay never ceases to defy my expectations. "Safe to Land" and "Closer" show that they have really reached a new level. I can't wait to see what their upcoming album brings - "The Long Fall Back to Earth" (4.21.09).

All right, this is a very good EP. With two downsides, the remixed classics just aren't working for me. It could just be me being nostalgic, but I am usually a fan of remixes, and when I listened to these, I kept on hearing amazing new themes that were begging to be born, but they never quite made it. They lacked direction.
However, Their new songs are incredible, especially Closer (in my opinion much better than Safe to Land). This is a song that defines whatever the heck genre Jars of Clay is becoming for the next year or so. The imagery is beautiful and the feel is perfect. This is what happens when great bands stay together. I look forward to hours more of this stuff.
- Jars has a willingness to remix and change their music like few other artists

This album brings old songs back to life! When I listen to Jars of Clay music I cannot help but smile. Their music always has a solid message through cheerful and light-hearted melodies. This is a great album but it just makes me want more. 5 songs isn't enough.

This album is pretty sweet. Closer is awesome to me I listen to it every day and it gets stuck in my head which is a good thing. You have to listen to these remade songs they are good.
