Its take a band from blue collar Flint Mi., a Chevy Town, to make the true country sound. It is one of the best bands around, great job Gentlemen.

Real Country Music is still alive. Whitey Morgan & The 78s is reminiscent of the greats like Paycheck, Jennings, and Coe. Don't wait to buy this album, do it right now.

This is a great CD and it blows away much of the drivvel passed of as "Country" on today's radio. My only complaint is sound quality is not what is should be. In other words, the CD was mixed pooply causing static in the recording, or ITUNES caused the problem during the download. Either way I would still urge any fan of great County Music to purchase this CD and their self titled CD "Whitey Morgan and The 78's." Their self titled CD is a great CD too, with a much cleaner sound than this offering.

This album is great...every single track!!! Whitey and the 78's have laid down an album that Willie, Waylon, and the boys would be proud of. No POP country crap here, just pure good 'ole Country the way it should be.

Words can't describe how much I enjoy this album, I must thank itunes for stumbling across it. If you love outlaw country, or the late great Waylon do yourself a favor and just buy it. I really find it so hard to believe this isn't all over the airways, but then again it's REAL counrty! maybe there's no market for outstanding honky tonk music anymore. Best album I have bought in a very long time.

My cousin pulled this out at a BBQ and i asked "Is that Waylon?" I went and bought it here and I gotta tell you I am pretty picky about my country music but this is heaven sent for God above. You can tell the musicians here really love and respect the old country styles. BUY IT...ALL HAIL WHITEY MORGAN! One of my new favorite bands! Can't wait till they come to Denver.
