This is the BEST lLive Rock / Fusion Album ever recorded. You will never find a "Tighter" Live recording by any band in this genre, particularly considering the horn arrangements executed flawlessly by the incredible Tower of Power horn section. Billy Payne just KILLS on the keyboards covering.everything from the Dixieland feel of Dixie Chicken, to super jazz improvisation on so many other tracks. Lowell George had a singularly recognizable blues voice and was an astonishing slide guitarist and composer-so much "storytelling" in his lyrics. Plus he was still sober enough at the time of this recording to be able to just NAIL everything on stage. This album is just an unreal accomplishment of LIVE music.

One of the best of ALL TIME I was lucky enough to see them perform this at the Univesity of Vermont, way back. I was simply astounded and I saw ALL the greats with first tours in the US, the Who, Tull, Johnny Winter, Airplane, BB King, Zappa, Dead, Corea,Frampton, Clapton, Santana...you name it. Im 61 now but will never forget the raw energy and how they brought the crowd higher and higher with their energy -rolling one tune into the next. You must have this one.

Can’t call myself a “feat fan”—their studio albums are ok. However, this is, in my humble opinion, the best live rock album ever—truly extraordinary. Phish did a live Halloween show replicating this album, and while an incredible effort, still even they couldn’t fully replicate it. Absolutely something for any music fan. Check out Lowell George’s resume—criminal that he died young.

What a feling of redemption in seeing all of the 5 star scores. I grew up with this album in my later teen years and always thought it was the best and to see the accolades and admiration of the boys enjoying their music while they play what is defiinatevly their crowning acheievement is a dream come true..God bless the FEAT!

This album is my favorite live album of all time. Perfect blend of boogir, rock and soul. Lowell George never got his due for his immense talents. The band is spectacular and TOP horn section is fantastic. To understand just how great George was listen to Phish's new years eve show where they play the entire WFC album. It is fantastic but Trey is not Lowell and it is not the samedespite outstanding musicianship (but I love that they paid homage).

I don’t remember exactly when I first heard Waiting For Columbus, probably the same time I was discovering Waylon and Willie and decided southern rock (progressive country) wasn’t so bad after all. Been a fan ever since all the way up to Ray Wylie Hubbard. Possibly the best live band ever; and Ive seen em all. Really great party sound. Makes a mid west boy long for the warm south.

I had never heard of this band before until I got this album, and I was blown away. They sound like ccr, grateful dead, and lynyrd skynrd all in one. The sound is great and the energy is top notch! Really sounds like southern rock

When this record was released I most likely heard it every day for 2-Yrs at various parties. This LP turned on alot of fans who were not going to normally swing commercially to them. So, Feat broke up and lost all there momentum. They were never the same. Nice move! A lesson to all you youngsters if you got it goin', keep it goin' & don't give it up cause you think your hot stuff. They did reform but had lost alot of the old fans but most importantly the press/reviewers. bob, denver, co
