Crush

Bought the cd maxi single of Jennifer Paige's hit "Crush" which included the Dave Morales Club Mix. I see short versions of the song here on I-Tunes but how about the excellent Dave Morales Extended Club Mix.

An excellent example of a perfectly crafted pop song.The instrumentals just cook, and Paige's vocals range from crystal clear to her breathy "It's just...a little crush". Beautiful! It's really more like smooth jazz. I probably hadn't heard this song since it was first released. Then, yesterday, I heard just a bit of it on, of all places, an episode of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. Well, thanks to iTunes, it is now safely preserved on my iPod.

This single was available on CD in music stores when the song first came out, so iTunes didn't do this, as another critic seems to think. But if iTunes did do it then it would be something to be proud of. It has the original version in addition to the dance mix and instrumental version so it is an especially good buy for a single. iTunes - don't listen to bad criticism on this record. It doesn't stink and it's good that you offer it. I still have the actual CD copy of it.
