Digs Other People's Songs - EP

I love Nicole Atkins -- but this EP, with the exception of the cover, seems to lack soul as her previous albums. The songs are well composed, well written and played -- they just don't play on your emotions. It's very "dry" to me.

Nicole Atklns is a gift.

Nothing comes close to the feeling i get when i hear Nicole's voice whether it be in person or on cd. She is a performer and has such a different sound to her, that it s impossible not to love everything she sings. She is truly talented and resembles a mix of Roy Orbison & Judy Garland. She has the crooner down to a tea!

I have been a follower of Nicole Atkins for a while now, and was thrilled to find this EP available. I honestly believe her to be one of the most underrated artists out there right now. Her voice is amazing and has a very nice quality to it. She makes music that demands your attention, and even though these are covers, she has given them all new life. I especially adore the version of "Inside of Love" found here. She is working on a new album that is supposed to be more rock oriented, so I'm looking forward to that, but will be enjoying these songs until then!

I loved Neptune City and the rich beautiful voice she brought to the songs with incredible lyrics. I am happy to see that the greatness continues for Nicole Atkins. Crystal Ship is uniquely amazing which is what we have come to expect from this artist.

Nicole, has the most amazing voice in music today! This EP only solidifies her amazing singing talent. In live performance her voice is even more beautiful. Get out and see Nicole and the sea you will be amazed.

I was pretty much blown away by her debut, Neptune City, but this EP gives me even more of a reason. Her voice is always spot on, and she has a unique style all her own.
