This is a mind melding genius album of piano arrangements taking the best of Glass soundtracks. Although I am already a very big Glass fan, and I will say this: his music is not always accessible to everyone, and I can understand that not everyone can sit there and enjoy choirs AAAAHing repetitive arpeggios. BUT this arrangement by the genius that is Riesman (one of the greats, key member of the Glass Ensemble), basically turned all of this into a very accessible, under any occasion, gentle exploration of the genius that is Glass. This is the portal to Glass for listeners that could not previously see or understand why he charged an entire movement in music.
