Mayday

Anyone who doesn't have this album, definitely needs to buy it. These guys are so phenomenal and I am so happy for them. They have come so far and I am so proud.

Ever wondered what it would sound like if you threw random assorted candy, a set of twins, a guitar, and a whole lot of determination into a bag and shook it up? Well, that's pretty much what these kids have got. Ty and Trey Turner are two of the most talented guys I've ever met, but have they let that get to their heads? Not a chance. They recently came to my house play a show, planned maybe five days in advance, and I could honestly say that it was one of the most fun things I've ever done. What, with Trey moonwalking during Burn, and Ty cracking jokes all night, how could it not be? Throw in about ten random kids, and you've got a party! I think that anyone could listen to this album and have a great time. This album is a singalong waiting to happen, and i say bring it on! There are some things in life you'll regret, but buying this album will definitely not make that list. So go ahead, give it a listen. You've got nothing to lose, and everything to gain.

In some songs you can tell they autotune his voice...

This CD is filled with good songs with not only inspiring lyrics that invite you to sing along, but also a nice guitar in the background. The over all feel of it is very sureal, and is worth every penny that it charges. From this albulm I'd have to say if you were to buy anything that "Anchors Away" would have to be one of my favorites, though it is more laid back. I also like "Only One" with all its goofy do-do-do's that you here it the preview of it here on itunes. Altogether if you're buying something just to listen to as you walk around through high school hallways, or drive in the car and block out your parents while they jabber on about the unimportants, or just because you want some music that will make you happy, I'd say this is a must buy.

this band is so amazing. trey and ty are both so down-to-earth and amazing. i talk to trey on purevolume a lot these days. you should really buy this album, you will be so pleased with this purchase. i can not wait until december 1st for the realease of their new album. please support and awesome band! --God Bless you:)

My daughter absolutely LOVES this band and now her Mom does too! These guys were nice enough to play to a small group......my daughter and her friends in Sugar Land, TX. They sounded amazing live! Their music is very moving....great lyrics and sound. They are also the nicest guys. If you read this guys, know that my daughter kaylin is still grinning from ear to ear and can't wait to try to find you more new fans. Good luck with your new album.....we will be buying it the day it comes out. Keep making music!

Caught these two talented brothers last night in Rochester, MN. I think I'll need plastic surgery to get my jaw off the floor. Their songs resonated long after the music stopped and I'm singing them in my head the following morning. If I were a star-struck 15-year old, that would be one thing - but given that I'm a 47-year old father of three, it speaks to the marketability of their music. I have a sneaking feeling that I've seen a major act in the making. Well done. I'll be following your career from the arctic north!

this album is simply awesome. I love acoustic music, and these guys nailed it. Every song has meaning and truth. I seriously think that these guys should have a record deal because they are way better than most signed bands.
