    I grew up in the era of Ritchie, he was 10 years my senior. While I lived in Co. we listened to KIMN AM on the new 6 Transistor Radio. Here is a chance to hear raw session recordings, not final mixes, and the raw talent Ritchie had. First, be sure to get the album, then listen to the introduction. It has some great bio info about Ritchie as well as background info on the cuts in this album. If you just like music in general, then buy a production album, but if you like to hear studio works, this is a great one to get. Several cuts are in stereo, while most, or all, final releases are mono. Cobra0435

    Think of all the potential that Ritchie Valens had... the movie La Bamba is a great movie dipicting his life and death. He was so talented and it's such a shame that his life ended so early.

    Richie grew up on my block and it was fillmed on my street and my family met his family He is one of my favorite singers
