Found this album accidentally and I'm in love. Elephants just might be the most beautiful, haunting song ever.

The song Elephants is horible! The way she describes blood dripping from their lips is gruesome. That is one messedup song!

I loved loved LOVED Happenstance, but this seems a little less original to me. Still good, but a little too Regina Spektor for my tastes.

I don't know if music has ever been described as Heavy Mellow, but that is what Rachael's music is for the Elephants part of the album. The sounds are nice and serene yet her lyrics carry a lot of weight to it. Rachael is an amazing singer and songwriter. She is a visionary.

So I bought the album when it first came out and I'm still listening to it. SHe has an INCREDIBLY haunting, distinguishably eerie voice that almost seems to breathe out the most gut-wrenchingly emotional lyrics. Duet: 5/5 My absolute favorite. The melody and lyrics ooze distant love, but breathe hope and sincerity. For the hopeless daydreamer in everyone... Elephants: 5/5 I would never even think of elephants that way. A definite tear-jerker. My other favorites are The Only Fault & Pause The Tragic Ending. Overall, excellent! I didn't give it a five simply because there are 2 songs i simply dont like.
