I love Shai, but this album wasn't for me. I count it as $10 donated toward a worthy ministry and I'm sure this album impacted others!

Some of the most Scripturally accurate lyrics I've ever heard. The soundscape never stays the same. "Passover" and "Martyrs" are my favorite songs of the album. I'm not a fan of rap and R&B but this album is so creative, uplifting and different that its one of the most played albums on my iPod! I highly recommend it.

Shai Linne is different from other Christian artists in that his sole goal is to glorify God through explaining the Gospel. No topics about music, hip-hop, or haters "get off of me," he simply writes how God works through the Bible and through sinners He saves. He explains the Gospel through songs like "Penelope Judd," a great tool if you want to explain the Gospel to kids, as well as the cost of living for Christ in "Martyr." Its really hard hitting stuff and actually challenges you to think about your faith and where is it with Christ. My favorite song that actually makes me fired up is Spurgeon, a thought-provoking mini rapography about Charles Spurgeon, the famous English preacher whom God blazed trails with to share the Gospel with everyone in his church. Thanks to this song, I picked up a few of Spurgeon's materials and am amazed how God worked in his life.

This album was Great. I would put in my top 10, maybe even my top 5 Holy Hip-hop CD's. He is right there with Cross Movement, Lecrea, Flame, Trip-lee.
