This might be my "if you could only have one thing on a deserted island" item.

This is the most under-rated Album ever. I love every song on it and can listen to it over and over. You have to listen to it a few times to get the story line. The music and arrangements are brilliant. This selection shows how diverse and talented Harry is. I would make this Album required listening. I have had it since 1997 and never tire of it.

Incredible talent of Connick shows a little more his raw NOLA heart with a little club funk on this album. One of his best records

I love this album! I cannot even pick a favorite song, because they are all so great. "Hear Me In the Harmony" started, and I said "this is my favorite song", then "Reason to Believe" started, and I said "this is my favorite song". See the pattern? They are all great!

This and She are by far my favorite Harry albums. I'm glad to hear some of this same style on his Katrina album. I wish he would produce another pure funk album like this again. Great stuff with Harry's pure voice.
  • Maybe my favorite of Connick

This is one of my favorite Harry Connick Jr. cds. I have owned it since I was 17 (now 30). It has a story that is different, but fun. It has enough fun music that it really doesn't fit into traditional anything, yet keeps it's jazzy roots. If you like She and Blue Light Red Light, you'll probably like this one. Personal favorites: City beneath the Sea, Hear me in the Harmony and Never Young. Check it out.
