I first bought this album in high school - and couldn't stop listening to it - it was great! "Clap for the wolfman" was big on the radio and the reason i bought it, "Star baby" just zipped along jazy with a solid R&B rhythm line and catchy lyrics - loved it! "Attila's blues" was wonderfully tight musically with fun, clever lyrics...just kep getting better. But the record kept skipping. So I returned it - twice - for the same problem. Bought it again in college when a roommate did it in with a hot plate on top of the record. searched for and found a CD that included those 3 songs. Bought it again on iTunes I've probably bought this music more times than anything else in the crazy vinyl - 8track - cassette - CD - MP3 world we live in - and I don't regret it. Pick it up yourself and I thikn you'll agree Kurt

If there were any justice at all, STAR BABY would have been a #1

I am SO happy to finally have this album again. I had it on cassette in the 70s and just flat wore it out. I looked for it in used record stores for probably 20 years. Now I have it again. Wonderful album. Thanks, ITunes!

Long out of print and probably only surviving on vinyl, this is easily Guess Who's best. The band plays very tight on every track and the remastering process and subsequent digitization has retained the essence of the original recording, a fairly decent recording in its day. Glad to see it back in circulation. If you are a fan, it's a must have - if you are discovering the Guess Who, this is a great introduction.

After hearing a few more Guess Who songs on the radio, and thinking back to my youth. I came across this "jem". I must have listened to it 1000's of times growing up. It was an instant down load, and must have. Great stuff here!!!

I am so pleased to see this album make it's way back to availability. The Guess Who was one of the solid bands of the seventies and this album was certainly one of their best. Thank you iTunes.

What a delight it is to see iTunes put this album up. I have been looking for this on CD for years with no luck and have almost completely worn out my vinyl copy. Now I can finally get this rare gem on my iPod. This is a fantastic album and arguably the best album to come out of the Guess Who's later collection if not their best album overall. The band seems very at ease with each other and the music just gells and flows marvelously. The main highlights of this album are "One Way Road to Hell" featuring some of Kurt Winter's best soloing and the tearjerking, yet heartwarming, "Ballad of the Last Five Years." At this point, I think the band knew they were coming apart and that track shows them at their most pensive and reflective. The album is consistent and enjoyable and brings back memories of a time when rock and roll rocked and rolled. The Guess Who are probably the most underrated classic rock band and this is probably one of their most underrated albums. A great addition to anyone's Guess Who collection, whether you are and old fan or burgeoning admirer.

For those who followed The Guess Who, this piece of rock history brings back memories of the great voice of Burton Cummings and the musical adeptness of the musicians giving great energy to the performances and great back up vocals. The remastering has an interesting balance of music with the voices layered right up front and around-nice job!
