This is Hugos strongest vocal cd released of late, this cd is full of journey-esque highs and the guitar playing is amazing. You can definately tell these guys grew up listening to Journey and were influenced by them heavily. No one can ever beat Steve Perry's vocals but Hugo definately has a great voice in his own right my favorites are Fools Game, I Dont Want to Say Goodbye, Bring back this love, and Tomorrow.

This is more of a review of the reviews. The singer sounds more like Steve Augeri than Steve Perry. Other than on Tomorrow, I hear little that would make me think of Steve Perry. Don't get me wrong, I like the songs and have purchased the album, I just don't hear Steve Perry in there.

I just listened to the tracks and the guitar playing was smokin good. Vocally it was below average and the mix was horrible. I do a better job with pro tools. If we are to compare this to Steve Perry it is not even close. Steve's voice is one in a billion and full of power and an amazing vibrato. Hugo is good don't get me wrong. I played in cover bands and he takes the cake in that arena. As long as your close no one will give it much thought plus the resemblence to Steve will make up for the lack of power and sustain in his voice. I just think it is odd for a guy to try and duplicate a Journey record. Be Original with your own stuff

If you like Journey, buy this album. Fantastic production and execution and easily stands up to any post-Steve Perry Journey material. Check out Hugo's solo recordings as well, excellent AOR stuff!

This is the album Steve Perry should have wrote. Why Journey didn't pick Hugo is beyond me. He has Perry nailed, but no one is Steve Perry.. If you like Journey,do yourself a favor and get it. You're not alone,Tomorrow,I can take you..are brilliant.

I have always admired Hugo's voice and to hear this is a treat... Melodic metal always has a place in my cd collection.. I love the ballads he sings..

I have been a fan of Hugo from Valentine(that is a great cd too-would love to see it in I-Tunes), the songs on this cd are uplifting, with powerful musicianship and vocals that just soar. This cd is awesome!

I have followed Hugo's career from the beginning with Valentine and his solo work and when I first heard of the collaboration with Ramos I knew I was in for a treat and I was right. With the sounds of Journey echoing all around this a great album from start to finish a well crafted piece of work. You just can't pass this one by. Thanks itunes!!!
