The whole album is pretty strong throughout with more than a couple amazing tracks. Just caught them in Chicago last night and they were ridiculously great live. Just by listening to it, you might wonder if they're live show could sound quite as good, but it's probably even better with the extra energy, but they're very tight musically as well, very rich and layered sound. A live album would be really cool hint hint... So yeah, MTV was there filming a little thing about them at the show and they're definitely on the rise...catch them while you can.

I've seen these guys live twice, and their cd doesn't disappoint. Not quite the same feeling as a live performance, but absolutely stunning nonetheless! The mix between slide guitar, synth, and bent organ is awesome. Gives me that funny light feeling of euphoria and heavy feeling of melancholy and simultaneously makes me want to get up and dance. A dichotomy like that is definitely worth listening to!!!

this album is fantastic. i'm completely hooked. and, as one other reviewer wrote, they're nothing like MGMT. yes, it's the whole indie-electro-pop-rock-club whatever, but these guys are in a class all their own and i love them for it. playing this album at work helps me buzz right through the day without even thinking- and sometimes i can't help but rock out a little in my office chair. :) my current favorites are "neon rose", "get over it", and "bible thumper". and seriously, for as often as i've listened to this, i never get sick of it. which is impressive for me, since i'm completely A-D-D when it comes to my music. i'm so proud of our little local band.

I've been hearing about these guys on blogs for a while, and almost bought their newest EP, but I'm glad I went with this full album. I was blown away. A feast for the ears, for sure. I love every song, but my favorites are Amoured Cars, Bible Thumper, Neon Rose and Synchronize. Let's get that new album, I can't get enough of this stuff <3

I saw you guys play live for the first time @ The Varsity Theater w/Pictures of Then, The Effects & White Light Riot back in July of "08. I'd have to honestly say, I wasn't blown away by you then. I admit that I'm a die hard Pictures of Then fan, so that's why I was there. But...as time goes on, I'd also have to say that I've gained a real appreciation for your music, and for the whole "Ghettotech" thing. Congrats on the amazing new album and for the First Ave. gig!! Keep up the good work & hope to hear you again soon! :-)
