well, this cd is okay. the only songs that stand out are "sirens", "looking glass", and "wake up". i prefer the bluegrass cheese. get 'round the wheel instead.

What a good jam CD. I am partial to SCI Live, but this CD was great. Sirens was amazing. So was Looking Glass, and Wake Up. This CD is just amazing...the only thing that beats it is their live shows.

This is not your usual String Cheese, I would go to say this is their best album yet. They try so many different new things that you would never hear from SSI, I give this album an A+ for jam.

I had a couple of songs on my iPod by SCI before I bought this album. I'm a diehard rock fan so a friend told that this was a good band for me. At first i laughed when i found out it was bluegrass but after I listened to a couple of songs he had it definitly had a more rock sound. I bought the album. If you aren't interested in buying albums then you definitly need to buy Wake Up. Best song on the album.

This is String Cheese Incidents WORSE studio album EVER! People are calling it experimental, well they should've stuck to what they know... The only positives I can get from this album is 'Wake Up', which is a remake of a song that appeared on their first album, 'Mountain Girl' is cool, not because it's an actual song, but it features Jerry Garcia's ex-wife Mountain Girl talking about some insane stuff over some insane music... 'Looking Glass' is worth a look and if you like bluegrass rave music take a listen to "Valley of the Jig." This album definitely deserves 1 or 2 stars, the production quality is top of the line, but the music isn't. If your looking for a Cheese studio album definitely listen to 'Round the Wheel... that album is full of fantastic songs.

I was never a fan of SCI because I don't like bluegrass, but this album is certainly not their normal sound. After listening to the previews, I was entranced and I bought it right away. SCI is excellent at this type of music, and I hope to hear more of this. It's a really great album, but not quite 5 stars.

While waiting for this one to be officially released, I heard it was not your typical Cheese. At that point I was prepared for anything. I know a lot of cheeseheads who hate on it but I love it! It is the ultimate experiment for the studio, much of which cannot be realistically be reproduced live. It is however a work of pure art. Techno-blugrass, Billy grabbing an electric guitar, voice overdubbs and loaded with trips into psychadelic imagination. Even if your not into Cheese, you'll love this TRIP!!!
