    I bought this album when it came out in 1999. I listened to it all the time then and I still listen to it (and it's still great). Most of these guys are still working and if you're into them or into acts like those that you find on this collection, you should buy this album, start from track 01 and let it go. When the album is over, the only thing you'll be disappointed in is that it's over, and you'll listen to it straight through again. One of the best true hip-hop albums in the last 20 years.

    When asked, what album would you take to a deserted island, Shadow’s “Introducing” first came to mind. I then realized time would be better spent laying down the funk as opposed to zoning on audio bliss. Born’s pop, along with artists like Valarde will enlighten any stranded nomad to live in harmony with his provided pallet.

    Look, this album has been looked over for too long. Blackalicious!? Jurassic 5, Latryx & Blackalicious!? Shadow and Latyrx!? As my man put it, pic this one up. Dont forget to give "Storm Warning" a chance. This is one of the most creative "Double Trouble" MC tracks EVER.
