Foreword

I recommend this like nothing i've ever recommended before. It's that amazing. It's really life itself. Every single song is so unique and really takes you on ride. Foreword is a genius song and Armslength is probably one of the top five songs of my whole 22 years of existence.

The best thing to hit music since the Appleseed Cast and Explosions in the Sky, Support this great bunch of guys and see them live theyre simply amazing! Pneuma and Foreword are incredible in their own Respects.

i saw Moving Mountains last night with Say Anything and heard them for the first time. While watching Moving Mountians, chills were sent up my spine and my breath was taken away. I purchased this album on vinyl and im loving it. One of the best albums i have heard in a long time. You will definitely not regret buying this

I thought Pneuma was incredible, but after listening to Foreword, it wanes in comparison.

The music is pretty sweet on this EP but there really shouldn't be vocals. They're really pop-emo sounding and ruin the music. There are also some production flaws but if you can get past them, you'll like this. John loves this EP.

How could NO ONE have rated this cd (more like ep)?! Moving Mountains is an AMAZING band that i stumbled upon on STRIKEGENTLY.COM. FAVORITE song is either ARMSLENGTH or WITH ONE'S HEART IN ONE'S MOUTH. Buy ALL four songs.

I was curious as to how this ep would sound with the addition of new members. I had watched live shows of MM on youtube and heard some of the new songs on here and was impressed. This ep is wonderful and I am just glad they are continuing to express themselves without limits. The title track of the ep is amazing but really there are no favorites as this is just a wonderful peice of art as a whole (very epic in spots but very gentle in others). The lyrics are a vague but a good vague so that all can relate. Love the ambience and melodic instrumental sections. Thanks MM and keep up the inspiration!

i've heard alot of feedback on this album, saying that it's not up to par as their last album "pneuma" (a genre-making, genre-breaking tribute to how music should sound). untrue. all untrue. this album is less "song-based", in the sense that the tracks aren't a short and poignant as the mastery of pneuma, but this album stands alone on it's own regard. it's a voyage through sonic landscapes that takes you from points of extreme aetherial ecstacy to the depths of existensialist substancialiasm. this is an album that captures all of the spectrum of emotion. "foreword" is an album to reckoned with. buy it. now. you won't be disappointed.

If heaven does really exist, this is what it must sound like. pure brilliance. go purchase Pnuema as well, you will not regret it.
