Earshot is its own sound. There are billions of people in this world, hundreds if thousands of vocalists...someone is going to sound similar to another artist. The difference is what they sing about, the music, and how they treat their fans. Earshot, although unfortunately underrated by society, is very in tune with their followers. They are incredible and responsive, and are WAY better than the junk that gets air time on radio stations these days.

This is so similar to the sound presented in Tools first two albums and APCs mer de noms. Love it
  • Actual music, finally.

This is fore anyone who will staraotype rock and metal. If you would actually take about 4 and a half minutes to listen to asleep, I Lie, headstrong, getaway, etc. then this will change your opinion on our music. As fore the tool comparison, earshot may have been influenced by tool. Speaking of tool, iTunes needs to get there music. Lastly, what nincompoop put pop as the genre? Fail!!!! This is why I love rock and metal, no auto tune, just a regular human voice, and no computers just real people playing actual instruments. it's shockingly rare nowadays to finds actual music. also, fore anyone looking fore a musical cure fore the plague of bull crap that the radio crams down our throats, please look up haji's kitchen, ION, tool, system of a down, pantarra, symphony x, iced earth, etc, etc.

I find this album better than other stuff they've made (not like the rest is bad) but when I read a review about this album on another website, It totally trashed Letting Go. It almost made me not wanna check it out but glad I did because I honestly love it. Every song is different (to me anyway) and I'm definetly interested. I don't hear Tool so much in Earshot's sound that I would bring it up but there are some possible similarities. Either way both Tool and Earshot are great bands so whatever. 5 stars all the way.

Back in the day, I remember hearing almost half these tracks on these crazy FMX (Freestyle Motocross) movies I used to watch (EX.: Flipped Out). But anyways, I would recommend the following: 1. Asleep I Lie 2. My Time 3. Misery 4. Headstrong 5. Get Away

I remember listening to Earshot about 2 years ago and i never listened to them again. Now i am listening to them again and realizing most of their songs describe parts of my life. whether it's pain, sorrow, or anything really. "Letting Go" is a very well made album! But, seriously, iTunes.... they arent pop! I've noticed you guys doing this alot lately! But whatever.... My personal favorites are "We Fall, We Stand' , "Not Afraid" &, "Headstrong". Really wish you guys would buy this album. It's awesome...!

First time I heard it, thought it was a Maynard side project, but regardless, an awesome album.

with vocals reminiscient of Maynard James Keenan (Tool, A Perfect Circle, Puscifer) Earshot is a great band that sadly hasnt quite made it big yet, with 3 albums under their belt and radio hits like "Wait" "Headstrong" and "Someone", hopefully this band will someday get famous! they really deserve it
