The female singer in this soundtrack is actually who is now Skylar Grey? Yeah, cray cray.

I was a fan of D. S. before Spring Awakening, but I loved that play and have seen it twice now. Whisper House is quite different, but I find it equally as enjoyable to listen to. It's a great listen, from beginning to end. I hope this play makes it to Broadway so I can see it.

His music is really haunting. I just saw it today with my school. I am a freshman and I loved the whole freaking show. I decided then and there that I was going to buy this album as soon as I got home. The set: amazing. The actors: amazing, the songs: haunting. They are really well written. One of my favorites is The Tale Of Solomon Snell. And the ending song. ;) A must buy, a must see.

I heard some of the music from Spring Awakening when it came around San Diego, but I didn't realize how phenomenal Duncan Sheik was until I went to the showing of Whisper House at the Old Globe. It. Was. AMAZING. I was captivated the whole 90 minutes. The story was well thought out, the set was incredible, and of course, the music was just...wonderful. I recommend this CD to ANYONE who likes Broadway, or Holly Brook (amazing in her role as a Ghost), or alternative music. I also recommend the play to anyone living in or passing through San Diego. Tickets sell out fast, but this play is WORTH IT. Easy 5 stars.

Duncan is so talented. I was watching a interview with him for Whisper House and he explained how he write the music for the musical and he makes it seem so easy! Anyways, I love Spring Awakening and Whisper House is going to be another favorite of mine. Very catchy and I love Holly Brook's voice

I was admittedly nervous after hearing of Duncan Sheik's next venture into musical theatre. I thought nothing could compare to the amazing Spring Awakening. So I was apprehensive. Whisper House is nothing short of brilliance. The score is haunting and moving. Already, this is one of my favorite albums in a long time.

I just saw the play last night and it was genius. Very different from anything you might expect, but it was very good. The soundtrack, however, was genius. It fit perfectly with the story and came across as very ghostly, which I believe was what Sheik was going for.

Extremely well written material highlights Duncan Sheik's first post-"Spring Awakening" effort. The Tony Award winner does not disappoint. This album is a true gem; a rather intimate affair; one of Sheik's best. Stand-out tracks: "We're Here to Tell You," "Earthbound Starlight," "Better Off Dead." Those are my personal fave-raves, but the entire set is absolutely stellar.
