Brother Lee is awesome.

Great musician, love his voice, evokes a spectrum of emotions, mostly calming.

Truly a great album. The lyrics are extremely deep. The melodies and beats on this album are great too. I love how "somehow" flows right into "John Lennon". Clarence continues to blow me away.

Love this band, so original, the vocals, the instrumental... what else is there to say? They never dissapoint. Thank you Citizen Cope for another great gift to the world!

All of his albums are amazing but the beat songs are salvation 107 & John Lennon. If u ever have the chance to see him live spend $30 and buy a ticket. Seen him 3 times so far & each time it gets better. Great talent!

i actually heard about Citizens Cope this year. I had no idea what is was. After taking time to listen to it, the music was REALLY good!! My personal favorite is Bullet and a Target. Idk why not alot of people know about this! its amazing!

Citizen Cope a.k.a. Clarence Greenwood. There are no words to actually describe the band "Citizen Cope" other than purely organic feel good music. I've seen him live 6 times in 2 years and each time gets better. If you really want to chill out with a phenominal choice of music, do yourself a favor and buy all three of his albums. I've never been so mezmerised by any music like I am with Citizen Cope. His fiance' is "Alice Smith", she's simply amazing with her 4 octave range vocals. Her music is another that can't be described, it's just blow you out of the water with raw emotion sound. They're both in a genre all by themselves.

Cope has lots of good songs, soulful songs, interesting songs, but this is something else. Once in a very rare while, lightning strikes an artist and a song will manifest that touches some fundamental human cord...and it can be heard. "Brother Lee" is that kind of song, an indispensable one that shocks people into some primordial recognition, makes them feel like tearing their hair out...running through the streets....acoloytes of this song. I've looked through Cope's others and tho there are a few that get toward and even to the lilting, stumbling over itself, "O the humanity!" riff of "Brother Lee"...they don't get anywhere near the song in fact. I think it's about death coming up on us from behind and our desperation to somehow outrun it. Play it again.

BEST MUSICIAN EVER ! ! First and foremost . . Citizen Cope embodies music 100% and his lyrics hit you hard right at the heart to the core! If you like this album you should pick up his other 2 and if you have never seen him live then you need to buy tickets for the next show. Its a wonder he hasnt made it main stream and maybe he just doesnt want too, either way his fan base is HUGE and still growing . . nothing but LOVE for Clarence Greenwood he is paving the way to what music is and should be !
